I made a playlist of my favorite songs to sing so I can listen to it and practice singing! Favorite may directly correspond with how good I am at singing it. The list is much longer but it wouldn’t all fit on the screen.
One of my favorite writing activities/prompts is to take songs or smells or food and do like an association with them. This song is the four of us laying on your trampoline, late at night but real humid and buggy, picking out constellations with this on the radio in the grass. Or turning off all the lights in your bedroom and jumping onto the bed with no regard for safety. Spinning in circles in your basement until we fell onto the ground, then all four of us insisting on sleeping on a twin bed and spooning out of necessity all night. I cannot write about you without sounding like I’m in love with you, sheesh.
