Look at these goofballs.

Big day, very big mug of yerba maté. Shadowing at the vet’s office this morning (holding some dogs), house meeting/maybe playing at Maymont this afternoon, Richmond’s Meet The Doulas event this evening (handing out some cards and making some connections). Feeling okay and hoping to continue feeling okay until I go to sleep, making today the first purely good day in a long time.
Got my first pair of scrubs! It’s like I’m a real professional!
Sidenote, because of this purchase I’ve had TLC stuck in my head since I woke up this morning.
I decided on a superbly tacky shade of pink that doesn’t have a name but I have lovingly dubbed it “Great-Nanna’s Apron.” Again I ask - is it still granny punx if it’s real?
Also pizza and a green dress that shows off my back tattoo.
This weekend’s outfit is brought to you by forgetting to pack any clothes when I left Richmond, having to borrow a shirt from my literal grandmother (is it still grandma punx if it’s genuine?), and finding my favorite pieces of jewelry that have been lost for a while: leaf earrings and vulva necklace.
Looking (and feeling) haggard, but trying my best to be productive. I’ve already started and finished writing my contract of services for Springtide Doula Care! Now I’m working on writing goals (an assignment, but a useful one) and starting to think about marketing (blech). Tonight I get to see Clementine and prepare for my vet tech assistant interview tomorrow morning (which I am highly qualified for and feeling good about, but trying not to get my hopes up). I can be an adult, even when I don’t want to leave my dining room!
Endless vanity blog today, but that’s alright. I found an old dress that fits me a lot better now than it used to, so that’s exciting! Also here is a photo of my back. I’m trying to decide whether the moon phases would look better filled in or as is, and also I need to locate a good tree drawing to go underneath them - opinions?
